App: Ondaro — IPTV player for Android TV
Developer: Ondaro
Last updated: 7 October 2026
You only have an Ondaro account if you signed in with your email address to use Premium. If you never did, we hold no personal data about you, and you only need step 3 below to remove data from your TV.
Before you start: cancel your subscription
Deleting your Ondaro account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. To stop future payments, first open Google Play › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Ondaro › Cancel subscription.
1. Delete your account on the web (no app needed)
- Go to https://ondaro.tv/account.
- Enter the email address of your Ondaro account and open the sign-in link we send you.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Or by email: send a message to privacy@ondaro.tv from the email address of your Ondaro account, with the subject "Delete my Ondaro account". If you no longer have access to that address, include your Google Play order ID (it starts with "GPA.") so we can identify your account.
2. Delete your account on your TV
- Open Ondaro and go to Settings › Account.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm by scanning the QR code with your phone, or by choosing Delete on the TV.
3. Delete the data stored on your TV
Your playlists, provider logins, favourites, watch history and settings are stored only on your TV; we never receive them. To delete them:
- remove individual playlists in Ondaro › Settings › Playlists, or
- delete everything: Android Settings › Apps › Ondaro › Clear data, or uninstall Ondaro.
This data is not backed up anywhere, so once deleted it cannot be recovered.
What we delete
When you delete your account, we delete:
- your email address and account ID;
- the list of devices linked to your account (device IDs, names, models, last check-in dates);
- the link between your account and your Premium licence;
- crash reports linked to your devices' installation IDs, and your problem reports and support emails, unless you ask us to keep a conversation open.
All linked devices return to the free version the next time they check their licence.
What we keep, and why
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase records (Google Play order ID, product, date, price, country, refund status) | Required by Turkish tax and commercial law, and to handle refunds and payment disputes | Up to 10 years after the end of the year of purchase |
| A record that your account was deleted (date, request reference) | To show that we handled your request | 3 years |
| Data in backups | Backups are overwritten on a fixed cycle | Up to 35 days after deletion |
Google keeps its own records of your purchase under the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy; we cannot delete those. You can manage them in your Google account.
How long it takes
We confirm your request by email within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of the request. Backups are cleared within a further 35 days.
Your purchase after deletion
Your Premium purchase is tied to your Google account. If you create a new Ondaro account later with the same Google account, you can restore an active subscription or lifetime licence from Settings › Account › Restore purchase.
