Ondaro Terms of Use

Effective date: 7 October 2026
Version: 1.0

These terms are an agreement between you and Hakan Ilıkkan, an individual developer based in Türkiye ("we", "us"), about your use of the Ondaro app for Android TV and the ondaro.tv website. By installing or using Ondaro, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Ondaro.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Purchases made through Google Play are also governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived by contract.

1. Ondaro is a player — it contains no content

Ondaro is software that plays media streams and playlists that you add. We do not provide, sell, host, recommend or link to any TV channels, films, series, playlists, guide data or IPTV subscriptions. Ondaro is empty when you install it.

We are not affiliated with any IPTV provider, broadcaster, channel or content owner. Names, logos, images and descriptions you see in Ondaro come from your playlist, your provider, your guide source or TMDB, not from us. If a playlist or provider stops working, you need to contact whoever supplied it; we cannot fix, restore or refund third-party services.

2. Your responsibility for what you play

You are solely responsible for the playlists, sources and accounts you add to Ondaro, and for making sure that you have the right to access and watch them where you live. Do not use Ondaro to access content that you are not legally entitled to watch. We do not check, and are not able to check, what you play.

Copyright notices. Because Ondaro hosts no content, we cannot remove a stream from a provider's server. If you believe something we control — this website, our store listing or our marketing — infringes your rights, write to support@ondaro.tv with the details required by applicable law, and we will respond promptly.

3. Your licence to use Ondaro

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Ondaro on Android TV devices that you own or control, for your own personal and non-commercial use, in line with these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

Ondaro, its code, design, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you no other rights to them. Third-party software included in Ondaro is licensed under its own terms, listed in the app.

4. Free version and Premium

You can use Ondaro free of charge with the features we offer in the free version. Premium unlocks additional features described in the app and on the store listing at the time of purchase, for example playing films and series, using more than one playlist at once, rewinding live TV and watching from the start (catch-up), all themes, and use on up to 5 TVs.

We work continuously on Ondaro and may add, change or remove features. We will not, during a period you have already paid for, remove a Premium feature that was a main reason for buying Premium, unless we are required to by law, by Google, or by a third party on which the feature depends (for example, if a provider format or an external service is discontinued). If that happens, we will tell you and, where the law requires, offer a remedy.

5. Buying Premium

Premium is sold only through Google Play. Prices are shown in the Play Store and in the app, in your local currency and including any taxes Google charges. Google Play processes your payment; we do not receive your payment details. We offer two options:

5.1 Yearly subscription

  • The subscription renews automatically every year at the price shown when you subscribed, unless you cancel it before the renewal date shown in Google Play.
  • Free trial. If a free trial is offered, it lasts 7 days. When the trial ends, Google Play charges you for the first year automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends. Each Google account can use the free trial only once, as Google Play decides.
  • How to cancel. Open Google Play › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Ondaro › Cancel, or use the link in Ondaro's Settings › Account. Uninstalling Ondaro does not cancel your subscription.
  • After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then the app returns to the free version. Your on-device data is not deleted.
  • Price changes. If we change the price of the subscription, Google Play will notify you in advance and, where Google's rules or the law require, ask for your consent. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the new price applies.

5.2 Lifetime licence

A lifetime licence is a one-time purchase that gives you Premium for as long as we offer and support Ondaro. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the product, not to your lifetime or the lifetime of a particular device. It includes Premium updates we release for the app, and it applies to up to 5 devices linked to your account (see section 6).

If we ever decide to discontinue Ondaro, we will give lifetime licence holders at least 6 months' notice in the app and on our website.

5.3 Refunds

  • Refunds are handled through Google Play under its refund policy. You can request one in Google Play, usually within 48 hours of purchase, at play.google.com › Order history.
  • After that, write to support@ondaro.tv with your Google Play order ID; we will consider your request in good faith, and grant it where the law requires.
  • If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the related Premium access ends.

5.4 Right of withdrawal (EU, UK, Türkiye)

If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or Türkiye, you usually have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content supplied immediately, this right ends once supply begins, if you have expressly agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal. Before you buy, Ondaro will ask for that agreement. If you start a free trial, you can cancel it at no cost at any time during the trial. Your statutory rights for faulty digital content are not affected.

6. Your account and the device limit

  • To use Premium on more than one device, you create an Ondaro account with your email address by scanning the QR code shown on your TV. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure.
  • One Premium purchase covers up to 5 devices at the same time.
  • You can see your devices and remove any of them in Settings › Account › Devices on your TV or at ondaro.tv/account. When the limit is reached, you can replace a device by removing another one. To prevent abuse, we may limit how often devices can be replaced (for example, to 5 removals in any 30 days).
  • Your Premium purchase belongs to your account and your Google account. It is not transferable to another person. If you sell or give away a device, remove it from your account first.
  • Sharing an account with people outside your household, or reselling access, is not allowed.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Ondaro to access, distribute or publicly perform content in breach of copyright or other law;
  • sell, rent or bundle Ondaro — or access to Premium — with IPTV subscriptions, playlists or devices, or advertise Ondaro in a way that suggests we provide or endorse any content or provider;
  • bypass, disable or tamper with licensing, purchase verification, the device limit or other security features, or distribute modified copies of Ondaro;
  • copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer Ondaro, except to the extent the law expressly allows despite this restriction;
  • overload, attack or probe our servers, or access them other than through the app or website;
  • use our name or logo in a way that suggests a partnership or endorsement we have not given.

8. Third-party services

Ondaro connects to services we do not control — your IPTV provider, guide sources, TMDB, YouTube and Google Play. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or conduct.

Film and series information and images are provided by TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

9. Updates and availability

We release updates through Google Play. Some updates may be required to keep Premium working, for example for security or purchase verification. Ondaro requires a compatible Android TV device; we do not guarantee that it works on every device, with every stream format or with every provider. We may change or stop parts of the website or the licence service for maintenance.

10. No warranty

To the extent the law allows, Ondaro is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every provider, playlist or stream, or that guide data and film information shown in it are accurate. If you are a consumer, you keep the statutory guarantees that apply to digital content in your country; nothing in this section limits them.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or loss of profit, or for anything caused by your IPTV provider, guide sources, playlists or other third-party services.
  • Our total liability to you for all claims relating to Ondaro is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 50, whichever is higher.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for intent or gross negligence, or under mandatory consumer protection law.

12. Responsibility for your content

If someone brings a claim against us because of playlists or content you used with Ondaro in breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows and unless the claim was caused by us.

13. Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using Ondaro at any time by uninstalling it. To delete your account, see our account deletion page. Remember to cancel any subscription in Google Play.
  • We may suspend or end your Premium licence or account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms — for example by tampering with licensing, reselling access, or obtaining Premium by fraud or chargeback abuse. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to explain. If we end your licence without your fault, we will refund the unused part of what you paid.
  • Sections 1, 2, 7 (to the extent relevant), 10, 11, 12, 14 and 16 continue to apply after termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Ankara, Türkiye have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. Consumers in Türkiye may apply to the consumer arbitration committees (tüketici hakem heyetleri) or consumer courts within the legal limits.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact support@ondaro.tv; most problems can be solved quickly.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. We will publish the new version at ondaro.tv/terms with a new effective date. For material changes, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a change is required sooner by law or for security. If you do not agree, you can stop using Ondaro and cancel your subscription before the change applies.

16. General

  • If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force.
  • If we do not enforce a right immediately, we have not waived it.
  • We may transfer these terms to a successor who takes over Ondaro; your rights under them will not be reduced. You may not transfer them without our consent.
  • These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about Ondaro.
  • These terms are written in English. Translations are provided for convenience; if they differ, the English version applies, except where the law of your country requires otherwise.
